Salt Lake City International Airport Terminal Redevelopment Program

As part of the Airport’s massive redevelopment program, RLW constructed tunnels as well as footings, concrete slabs, and decks for the South Concourse. In total, RLW delivered 79,000 cubic yards of concrete for footings, walls, slab-on-grade and suspended slabs using cast-in-place methods, as well as one million square feet of slab on metal decks. This project required thorough coordination and scheduling with the numerous contractors performing work as part of the redevelopment program. At the peak of construction, RLW dispatched a team of more than 150 employees to deliver this schedule-critical work.
